Project Address: Early Childhood Education Center, Donglin New Area, Fuzhou City Design Philosophy: Child-centered and safety-first, this project creates a playful, exploratory, and creative learning environment that honors young children’s natural inclinations and supports their independent exploration. It emphasizes seamless integration with nature, leveraging the site’s existing topography and native vegetation to transform the outdoors into a living classroom, while incorporating local cultural symbols to foster a sense of place and community identity. The design prioritizes the empowering potential of play by thoughtfully arranging diverse spaces for physical activity, sensory discovery, and social creativity, thereby promoting well-rounded physical and emotional development. At the same time, it reflects a warm, humanistic approach through the use of soft, soothing color palettes, a commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly practices, and the establishment of strong partnerships between home and school—ensuring that every child grows up happily in an environment that is nurturing, inspiring, and full of wonder.
