Project Address: Fuzhou Lichuan No. 3 Kindergarten Design Philosophy: Centered on the child and grounded in safety, this design creates a playful, exploratory, and creative learning environment that honors young children’s innate curiosity and supports their independent exploration. It emphasizes seamless integration with nature, leveraging the site’s natural topography and lush greenery to transform the outdoors into a living classroom, while incorporating local cultural symbols to foster a sense of place and belonging. The design places great emphasis on the empowering potential of play, arranging diverse spaces for physical activity, sensory discovery, and social creativity to promote well-rounded, harmonious development of young children’s minds and bodies. At the same time, it reflects a warm, human-centered approach by using soft, soothing colors to create a welcoming atmosphere, embracing eco-friendly principles, and building strong partnerships between home and school—so that every child can grow up happily in an environment that is loving, inspiring, and full of fun.
